Balance and Equilibrum, 2014, Ulsan, South Korea

Del Geist and Patricia Leighton collaborated on this project.  A steel structure with a ‘balanced’ living tree and a local Korean stone, both elevated and held in tension.  The sculpture is in balance both metaphorically and physically. It pays homage to the five elements of the Yin and Yang within its environment.  Commissioned by the City of Ulsan, South Korea to create a site sculpture for the Taehwa River Eco Art Festival 2014
